I'd personally like to extend a warm greeting to all the members of WarLordz and any guests reading our forums. For those of you that don't interact with me on a daily basis, my name is Tannaanne and I am the WarLordz current Brigade General. If you have any questions, comments, concerns or ideas please feel free to contact me at any time via whisper/mail in game or a private message here.
A little personally about me and my philosophy...
I believe everyone regardless of skill has value. All of our members are important and have something to contribute. A legion is a community above all else, and that a strong community is built one person at a time by helping each individual rise to their own potential. Teamwork is vital to success and continued growth. A strong community is diverse in needs, beliefs, abilities and personalities.
I believe in high standards. We are each accountable for how we behave and how we treat others. I expect all members to treat each other with respect and equality. This does not mean that no one argues, it means that when issues arise, members try to come to an agreement, or at a minimum agree to disagree. That members take into consideration how their actions effect others and the legion as a whole.
I believe in positivity. Positive begets positive. To paraphrase Charles R. Swindoll 'Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it.' Positive attitudes and beliefs can go a long way towards achieving positive results.
A little bit about what I feel is the current direction of the legion...
Warlordz is a PvPvE legion. PvP is not a requirement for joining, but all members should understand that the Aion environment is set up to encourage and in some areas require some amount of PvP play. Members are absolutely encouraged to try it. As the legion grows, by necessity it will as a whole become more geared towards PvP play. The current direction is towards participating in Fort Sieges, in participating as groups or individuals joining alliances to defend or secure forts and/or hearts.
It is my opinion that learning to work together in groups and with each other in PvE instances, is a very good way to strengthen the legion for PvP.
In the future...
Over the next few weeks you will see some coming announcements. These will include static groups for things like dailies/weeklies (Kahrun/Mithril Medal) groups for dungeons, a call to arms for completing legion tasks, a potential legion only PvP tournament and much more on its way.
And for now... That's all the news that's fit to print.
